This event aims to inspire and equip young people with knowledge and resources to foster their aspirations for entrepreneurship and innovation.

HÀ NỘI — Entrepreneurship and innovation are key drivers and vital resources for the development of every nation, especially in the era of globalisation, international integration and the Fourth Industrial Revolution.
The 2025 'Youth Entrepreneurship Journey' and the northern regional semi-final of the 'Rural Youth Start-up Projects' contest, organised by the Hồ Chí Minh Communist Youth Union Central Committee (HCYU) and Central Committee and President of the Việt Nam Youth Federation, took place in Quảng Ninh Province on Tuesday and Thursday.
The event aims to inspire and equip young people with knowledge and resources to foster their aspirations for entrepreneurship and innovation.
Speaking at the opening ceremony, Deputy Head of HCYU's Youth Affairs Department Cảnh Chí Quân emphasised the role of young people in the digital era and reaffirmed the youth union’s commitment to supporting youth entrepreneurship.
The 'Youth Entrepreneurship Journey' in Quảng Ninh marked the opening of a vibrant series of activities to be held in Huế and Đồng Tháp Province.
During the programme, participants will engage in in-depth training sessions on policies supporting start-ups, product marketing, communication skills and smart finance to equip young people with essential knowledge.
The northern regional semi-final of the 'Rural Youth Start-up Projects' contest attracted more than 30 rural would-be entrepreneurs to compete, present and showcase their products.
This provided an opportunity for projects to receive evaluations and feedback from the judging panel as well as connect with potential investors.
Through training courses and practical activities, young people will be equipped with the necessary tools to succeed in entrepreneurship, while youth union and youth federation officials continue to serve as a bridge helping young people access resources and turn their start-up ideas into reality.
It not only ignites passion and the desire to contribute, but also weaves inspiring stories of entrepreneurship that have helped drive the nation’s socio-economic growth.
A specialised forum on 'Applying Artificial Intelligence in the Start-up Ecosystem' will offer fresh perspectives and practical tools for start-up projects in the digital era.
FPT Corporation Chief Communications Officer Mai Thị Lan Anh said that AI is just a tool, noting that its value lies in how we use it to create valuable communication products for businesses, especially start-ups.
The FPT representative expressed appreciation for the enthusiastic spirit and the potential of the Vietnamese start-up community, viewing it as a valuable asset and a source of faith in the country's future.
Amid a constant stream of new and evolving AI tools, Anh advised young entrepreneurs to remain calm and clear-headed.
They must clearly define their goals and the problems they need to solve before using AI, to avoid blindly following trends, she said.
While the speed of content creation is an advantage, quality and accuracy are decisive factors, as fast but incorrect or unethical content can do more harm than good, she added.
Young entrepreneurs should also not concern themselves with which new tools others are using, but rather focus on choosing the most suitable platform to achieve their goals while adhering to ethical and legal standards, according to Anh.
Other speakers also offered practical perspectives and advice for young entrepreneurs, covering topics from grasping market trends, building personal brands and financial management to leveraging technology to optimise business efficiency.
The event was a meaningful occasion to inspire and show the importance of applying artificial intelligence in daily life and in start-ups, helping young people shape a creative, proactive and responsible mindset for their career journeys. — VNS
