HCM CITY — Leading global postgraduate education platform upGrad has recently unveiled a strategic partnership with Skills Bridge aimed at providing a more accessible and practically focused online learning experience for Vietnamese learners.

This collaboration marks a key step in the initiative “Powering Leaders with upGrad”, which focuses on delivering a diverse and impactful learning model that combines academic knowledge with practical application.

The partnership will launch with the Doctor of Business Administration (DBA) programme from Golden Gate University, one of upGrad’s premier academic partners.

“With our extensive learner network, we’ve seen that the biggest challenge today isn’t accessing academic degrees – it’s turning that knowledge into execution power. That’s why upGrad prioritises integrated learning models, such as this strategic partnership with Skills Bridge, to equip learners with the practical skills that traditional academia often cannot provide,” said Vũ Lê, country head of upGrad Vietnam and Thailand.

“In the coming phase, our strategy is to expand high-impact programmes, personalise learning journeys, and foster stronger connections between learners and the real-world expert community,” he added.

By combining upGrad’s international academic foundation with Skills Bridge’s practical training ecosystem, the partnership offers a holistic learning experience that enables learners to apply knowledge immediately and deliver real impact in their organisations and careers.

Thái Vân Linh, founder and CEO of Skills Bridge, said the partnership focuses on helping learners move from understanding concepts to applying them in real work environments. “Through this collaboration with upGrad, we aim to provide foundational skills that help professionals, especially future managers and leaders, strengthen their strategic thinking and execution capabilities amid ongoing digital transformation,” she said.

Established in 2015, upGrad is a prominent EdTech company in Asia, offering programmes to learners in more than 100 countries, and has been selected by Microsoft as one of five partners to implement the ‘U&AI’ certification programme. Since entering Việt Nam in 2021, upGrad Vietnam has connected local learners with international academic excellence. — VNS
