HCM CITY  — EmbedIT Ltd, a Czech IT company and part of the PPF Group, held an opening ceremony for its regional hub for Southeast Asia in Việt Nam on September 19.

Jan Cenker, the company’s CEO, said Việt Nam was the first choice when deciding to expand into Southeast Asia since it boasts a stable political environment, a growing market, and a young and highly skilled IT workforce.

EmbedIT Vietnam plans to build partnerships with universities in Việt Nam and its centre will serve as a research and development and innovation hub.

The company provides IT solutions for businesses including business IT transformation, data, analytics, AI and cyber security.

Lê Hoàng Hải, General Director of EmbedIT Vietnam, said that the company aims to establish a connected network and offer financial IT solutions to businesses and the government in Việt Nam.

EmbedIT is known for its partnership with the Czech Republic consumer finance provider Home Credit Group to develop IT financial application solutions that have served over 100 million customers in 11 countries across Europe and Asia, including Việt Nam.  — VNS
