MANILA – In response to the September 30 earthquake in Cebu, VinFast Philippines and Green GSM have joined government-led relief efforts, underscoring their commitment to support communities in times of crisis.

Together, the two companies donated 10 million pesos to the Cebu provincial government to aid relief and rebuilding efforts. The funds will help provide essential supplies, support affected families and restore damaged infrastructure.

Governor Pamela Baricuatro expressed gratitude, saying: “We are very grateful for your kindness. This support will help us rebuild schools, offices and homes.”

Just one day after the 6.7-magnitude quake, Green GSM was already on the ground delivering 500 relief packages with food and water, and is now sending mobile tents for displaced families. Its staff are working with local authorities to coordinate logistics and ensure relief reaches residents quickly.

Antono Zara, CEO of VinFast Southeast Asia, said: “We stand with the people of Cebu and will continue to help restore stability as soon as possible.”

Managing Director of Green GSM Philippines Đào Quý Phi added that the company’s drivers are directly supporting deliveries to ensure aid “reaches people faster and more efficiently.”
