Vietravel Airlines resumes Hà Nội–Đà Lạt route

HÀ NỘI — Vietravel Airlines has resumed its Hà Nội–Đà Lạt domestic route, operating one daily round trip from September 15 as part of its plan to expand its network in the second half of 2026.

The airline said the route has strong growth potential, particularly following the completion of infrastructure upgrades at Liên Khương International Airport. The airport resumed operations in August after improvements to its runway and apron facilities.
According to Vietravel Airlines, the upgrades are expected to improve operational safety and increase the airport’s capacity to serve passengers, creating favourable conditions for the restoration of air links between Hà Nội and Đà Lạt.
It's hoped the route will strengthen connectivity between the capital city and Đà Lạt, a major tourism destination in the Central Highlands, supporting travel and tourism between the two regions.
To mark the resumption, Vietravel Airlines is offering promotional fares from VNĐ49,000 (US$1.90) during the 6pm–11pm period each day, along with a 15 per cent discount on base fares and other offers available through its official website.
A Vietravel Airlines representative said the route’s resumption was part of the carrier’s operating plan for the second half of the year and reflected its commitment to supporting tourism recovery in Lâm Đồng Province following the completion of airport infrastructure upgrades.
The airline is also expanding its fleet and domestic network. It is expected to receive an additional aircraft in September and launch two new routes in October, connecting HCM City with Hải Phòng and Thanh Hóa.
Vietravel Airlines recently signed an agreement with Airbus to purchase 50 new-generation aircraft as part of its longer-term fleet expansion and development strategy.
The deal is expected to increase the carrier’s operating capacity and support the expansion of its domestic network, while providing passengers with modern and comfortable air travel options. — VNS
