Vietjet opens new Hà Nội-Xi’an route, expanding travel links to China


The route offers travellers an exciting opportunity to explore the rich cultural, culinary and historical heritage of two of Asia’s most iconic cities, according to Vietjet.

HÀ NỘI — In celebration of the vibrant summer travel season, Vietjet has launched a new direct route connecting Hà Nội and Xi’an, China.

The route offers travellers an exciting opportunity to explore the rich cultural, culinary and historical heritage of two of Asia’s most iconic cities, according to Vietjet. 

Flights depart Hà Nội at 9.25pm, arriving in Xi’an at 1.10am the following day. Return flights leave Xi’an at 2.10am, landing in Hà Nội at 4.10am local time.

Xi’an, an ancient capital of China with over 3,000 years of history, is home to world-renowned sites including the ancient city wall of Chang’an and the Mausoleum of Emperor Qin Shi Huang. Meanwhile, Hà Nội, Việt Nam’s capital, charms visitors with its millennium-old heritage, colonial architecture and vibrant street food culture.

The new route marks Vietjet’s continued expansion into the Chinese market, complementing its existing services to Beijing, Shanghai, Guangzhou, Chengdu and more. It also reinforces the airline’s growing international footprint across Việt Nam and the Asia-Pacific region.
