Separately, Vietjet has been named Best Hybrid Airline at the Korea Consumer Awards 2026, marking the airline's first recognition in the category following its transition to a hybrid carrier model.

The airline also received the Best Inflight Food Experience and Service Excellence Award, its second consecutive year of recognition at the annual awards, according to a company statement.

The Korea Consumer Awards recognise brands based on consumer surveys and evaluations by an expert panel. Vietjet said it was the only foreign airline to receive awards for a second straight year and was named among South Korea's 39 most trusted consumer brands in 2026.

Vietjet has carried more than 15 million passengers between Việt Nam and South Korea since launching services to the market in 2014. The airline currently operates 11 direct routes connecting Seoul and Busan with HCM City, Hà Nội, Đà Nẵng, Nha Trang, Phú Quốc and Hải Phòng.
