HCM CITY — Kaspersky has reported a 20 per cent year-on-year increase in total sales in Việt Nam for 2024, marking the highest growth rate among Southeast Asian markets.

The global cybersecurity company also achieved record-high global revenue of US$822 million last year.

In 2024, Kaspersky continued to expand its footprint in Việt Nam by strengthening its product and service portfolio, accelerating local adoption of next-generation technologies, and responding to rising demand for reliable cybersecurity.

Despite global market uncertainty, the company delivered growth momentum in both consumer and business segments.

With a 20 per cent YoY increase in total sales, significantly higher than the regional average of 4 per cent, Việt Nam emerged as the top-performing market in the company’s Southeast Asia portfolio.

The company’s business growth in Việt Nam was driven by strong performances across product categories. The consumer segment posted a 16 per cent YoY increase, supported by demand for modern digital protection among individuals and families.

Kaspersky’s core B2C portfolio, including Kaspersky Standard, Kaspersky Plus, and Kaspersky Premium, grew by 110 per cent YoY, marking the highest product uptake rate among all Southeast Asian countries.

Kaspersky’s business segment also showed impressive results, with B2B sales growing by 23 per cent YoY.

"Việt Nam's performance in 2024 exceeded our expectations, reinforcing our confidence in the country's long-term potential. We're seeing a rise in cybersecurity awareness among both individuals and businesses,” said Ngô Tấn Vũ Khanh, country manager for Việt Nam at Kaspersky.

"As our world becomes increasingly digitally interconnected, it presents immense opportunities alongside significant challenges for everyone. Our success in Việt Nam is a powerful milestone, providing us with the momentum to continue innovating, expanding our knowledge, and extending our technological leadership globally,” he added.

In addition to product performance, Kaspersky also expanded its cybersecurity services in Việt Nam in 2024. The company scaled the delivery of services such as Kaspersky Managed Detection and Response (MDR), Incident Response, and Compromise Assessment.

Globally, these services recorded YoY growth of 18 per cent, 20 per cent, and 271 per cent, respectively. These proven service models are being localised and deployed in Việt Nam to help strengthen resilience across critical sectors. — VNS
