Sovico, Vietjet and HDBank are expected to sign agreements with international companies, financial institutions and other partners during Thảo''s visit to the US and Canada, focusing on capital, market access and technology, according to the companies.
The airline has been expanding its international flight network and investing in newer-generation aircraft as it seeks to develop an aviation ecosystem and strengthen connections between Việt Nam and major economic and tourism centres.
The agreements build on a longstanding partnership between Vietjet and Thales and come as Vietnam and France seek to expand cooperation under their Comprehensive Strategic Partnership.
Under the agreement, CFM will propose a consulting arrangement to advise Vietjet on requirements for engine MRO operations, including technical capabilities, infrastructure, workforce needs and other industry considerations.
The airline will launch three new routes to the Philippines from November 10, connecting both HCM City and Hà Nội with Cebu, and HCM City with Clark. Each route will operate three round trips a week.
The new route will begin on January 9, 2027, with two round-trip services a week, making Vietjet one of the first airlines to provide international connectivity to Australia’s newest airport.
Flights from Kunming to Nha Trang operate under flight number VJ5325, while the return leg is designated VJ5324, with three flights every two weeks on a rotating basis.
The carrier''s promotion, which runs from now to Thursday, offers Eco-class tickets from zero đồng, excluding taxes and fees, across its domestic and international network for travel between August 15, 2026 and March 31, 2027.
