Strong market interest ahead of launch
Even prior to its official release, SICHARGE FLEX has garnered strong interest and early commitments from major industry players, demonstrating market confidence in Siemens’ advanced EV charging technology.
Among the first to adopt the new system is OMV, a Charge Point Operator (CPO) and Mobility Service Provider (MSP) headquartered in Vienna. Operating across Austria, the Czech Republic, Romania, Slovakia, and Hungary, OMV has placed an initial order for SICHARGE FLEX to support the expansion of its charging network.
The first deployment will be at a key location in Kufstein, Austria, situated along the vital A12 corridor that connects Germany and Italy. The site is designed to accommodate a wide range of vehicles, including passenger cars, electric trucks (eTrucks), and electric buses (eBuses), highlighting the system’s flexibility and readiness for heavy-duty, high-throughput use cases. —VNS
