HCM CITY — Phát Đạt Real Estate Development Corporation (PDR) has officially entered into a strategic partnership with Japan’s Mitsubishi Corporation to jointly develop the Thuận An 1 project, marking a significant step forward in international cooperation for high-quality urban development in Việt Nam.
The partnership was announced on Wednesday, and represents the first concrete milestone in collaboration between the two companies.
Located in Thuận Giao Ward in HCM City, the Thuận An 1 project is envisioned as a model for international cooperation in real estate development, setting new benchmarks for urban quality standards in the city’s northeastern area.
Under the agreement, both sides will focus on developing a mixed-use urban complex that integrates comprehensive amenities with a green and sustainable living environment. The project will be implemented in line with internationally recognised standards such as LEED and Fitwel, aiming to improve residents’ quality of life while contributing positively to the surrounding urban landscape.
Through the partnership, PDR and Mitsubishi Corporation expect to leverage their respective strengths, extensive experience and professional expertise in project development and management to deliver a high-quality urban space with professional operations that meet global standards.
Bùi Quang Anh Vũ, Chief Executive Officer of PDR, said the company was honoured to collaborate with Mitsubishi Corporation, one of the world’s leading conglomerates.
“With Mitsubishi Corporation’s reputation, international-standard urban management experience and global best practices, we believe this cooperation will help create green, sustainable and internationally accredited living spaces, bringing outstanding value to Việt Nam’s real estate market,” he said.
PDR representatives added that working with a top Japanese partner not only enhances the quality of the Thuận An 1 project but also strongly supports the company’s long-term strategy to develop premium urban spaces. The move reflects PDR’s selective international cooperation approach to strengthen its development capacity and market position.
Currently, PDR is concentrating its resources on key markets including HCM City – covering the former Bình Dương and Bà Rịa–Vũng Tàu areas – Đồng Nai Province and several other strategic locations.
The company continues to reinforce its presence with a solid financial foundation, an experienced workforce and proven project development capabilities. With a long-term strategy in place, PDR remains committed to sustainable growth aligned with broader social and urban development goals. — VNS
