More than 300 enterprises from Việt Nam, China, ASEAN countries, Vietnamese industry associations and domestic and foreign trade, tourism and investment promotion organisations are participating.
QUẢNG NINH — The 17th Việt Nam–China International Trade and Tourism Fair 2025 opened in Móng Cái 1 Ward, Quảng Ninh Province on Thursday, as part of Việt Nam’s National Trade Promotion Programme 2025.
More than 300 enterprises from Việt Nam, China, ASEAN countries, Vietnamese industry associations and domestic and foreign trade, tourism and investment promotion organisations are participating.
The Chinese side showcases 62 booths and two exhibition zones featuring socio-economic achievements. Việt Nam presents over 250 booths from 162 businesses across 31 provinces and cities, along with three dedicated areas highlighting local products and development potential.
The five-day fair features a diverse line-up of activities, including exhibitions on socio-economic progress, displays of OCOP products and Quảng Ninh’s signature goods, business networking and product promotion, the 2025 Investment Promotion and Industry Cooperation Forum, singing on the border river, a Việt Nam–China international friendship run and a series of trade promotion events.
Addressing the opening ceremony, Lê Văn Ánh, vice chairman of the Quảng Ninh Provincial People’s Committee, emphasised that the fair is not only an annual trade promotion highlight for border localities but also a platform for comprehensive collaboration in economy, trade, investment, tourism and people-to-people exchanges. Its influence extends widely across localities in both Việt Nam and China, particularly in southwestern areas.
The fair plays a pivotal role in strengthening ties between enterprises of the two countries and between businesses and authorities of Quảng Ninh Province and China’s Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region. It also contributes to realising the shared understandings reached by leaders of the two Parties and the two States, as well as of Quảng Ninh and Guangxi.
The event aims to advance international economic cooperation and integration, create opportunities for domestic and foreign enterprises to connect, showcase products, sign trade and tourism agreements and promote investment.
It further supports domestic production, market expansion, trade facilitation, partner engagement and market connectivity. At the same time, it fosters border-area friendship, boosts import-export flows through local border gates, enhances a stable business environment and stimulates year-end consumer demand. — VNA/VNS
