HCM CITY — McDonald’s Vietnam has recently announced a series of fan-focused activities as part of the Asia Chicken Campaign, a regional initiative led by McDonald’s Korea and rolled out across 13 Asian markets with G-DRAGON as the campaign ambassador.

Running from now through the end of October 2026, the campaign will give customers in Việt Nam nearly two months of immersive experiences through a lineup of connected activities, including the official campaign film featuring McDonald’s and G-DRAGON displayed on major LED screens nationwide; in-store activations such as exclusive fan meal experiences, nail art sessions, and photobooth opportunities at selected McDonald’s restaurants decorated in the campaign theme; as well as the chance to purchase exclusive collaborative merchandise from McDonald’s and PEACEMINUSONE.

For Việt Nam. the Asia Chicken Campaign menu is built around McDonald’s Vietnam’s signature crispy juicy fried chicken, paired with the gochujang butter sauce developed by McDonald’s Korea to create the new K-spicy chicken.

Explaining why fried chicken was selected as the centerpiece of the campaign menu in Vietnam, Võ Văng Thắng Lợi, general director of McDonald’s Vietnam, said: “Our crispy juicy fried chicken has become one of the most familiar and well-loved products among McDonald’s customers in Việt Nam. Customer preference, combined with our long-term investment in refining product quality and taste, made fried chicken the natural choice as the hero item for this campaign. By pairing our signature chicken with Gochujang Butter Sauce, we aim to bring customers a fresh experience inspired by Korean flavors while maintaining the familiarity and taste profile that Vietnamese customers enjoy.”
