Lotte Vietnam Shopping Joint Stock Company officially held the groundbreaking ceremony for its Lotte Mart Hạ Long Shopping Centre Project in Bãi Cháy Ward, Quảng Ninh City on September 16.

QUẢNG NINH — Lotte Vietnam Shopping Joint Stock Company (Lotte Mart) officially held the groundbreaking ceremony for its Lotte Mart Hạ Long Shopping Centre Project in Bãi Cháy Ward, Quảng Ninh City on September 16.
Planned on an area of more than 10,000sq.m, the Lotte Mart Hạ Long project is strategically located along Hoàng Quốc Việt Street, a major thoroughfare within the Hạ Long Marina urban area in Bãi Cháy Ward.
The project is expected to become a focal point connecting local residents’ demand for convenient shopping with the diverse experiential preferences of millions of domestic and international visitors.
For this project, Lotte Mart is partnering with urban developer BIM Group to create a modern commercial space befitting the future vision of the city.

Speaking at the ceremony, Shin JuBack, general director of Lotte Mart Vietnam, said: “Today’s groundbreaking ceremony marks the beginning of Lotte Mart’s long-term journey alongside Quảng Ninh. We are committed to dedicating the maximum resources necessary to complete the project on schedule while ensuring the highest standards of safety and quality. Once officially operational, Lotte Mart Hạ Long will offer an integrated, multi-purpose shopping model combining an international-standard consumer goods hypermarket, a diverse food and beverage area, and modern lifestyle amenities, helping to elevate Hạ Long City’s commercial and service infrastructure.
The event marks an important milestone in Lotte Group’s strategy to expand its modern retail network in Việt Nam. In Lotte Group’s long-term development strategy for international markets, Việt Nam has consistently been identified as one of its top priority destinations.
