HCM CITY — Kredivo Vietnam and electronics retailer Dien May Xanh (DMX) have expanded their partnership to offer digital consumer financing across more retail channels, betting on growing demand for embedded credit as Việt Nam's digital economy expands.

The agreement moves beyond a payment partnership by integrating Kredivo's buy-now-pay-later (BNPL) and cash loan services more deeply into DMX's retail ecosystem, the companies said in a joint statement on Thursday.

The partnership will initially cover The Gioi Di Dong, Dien May Xanh and TopZone stores, with plans to extend financing services to other brands in the group's retail network, including AVAKids, An Khang Pharmacy and Bach Hoa Xanh.

Kredivo said customers can apply digitally for credit lines of up to VNĐ50 million (US$1,900), with approvals completed within minutes and no down payment required.

The companies aim to achieve triple-digit gross merchandise value growth from the partnership in 2026, supported by broader integration across DMX's online and offline sales channels.

The collaboration will also connect Kredivo's financing services with DMX's loyalty programme, giving eligible customers access to BNPL services and cash loans.

"Vietnamese consumers no longer see credit as a standalone financial product – they expect it to be seamlessly embedded into their everyday shopping experience," Krishnadas M, chief commercial officer of Kredivo Group, said in the statement.

Việt Nam's e-commerce market reached $31 billion in 2025 after growing by around 25 per cent annually, while cashless and mobile payment transactions rose 42.2 per cent and 36.6 per cent respectively, reflecting rising demand for digital payment and financing services, according to the Ministry of Industry and Trade.

Business Development Director of Services at DMX Trương Hồng Hoàng said that the expanded partnership will provide customers with more flexible financing options across DMX's retail channels and help make consumer electronics more affordable.

The companies said they plan to continue developing financing products and customer services under the partnership through the end of 2026.

Established in 2021, Kredivo Vietnam is the local arm of Southeast Asian digital consumer credit platform Kredivo, offering buy now, pay later (BNPL),, instalment financing and personal loans. — BIZHUB
