HÀ NỘI — CEO Group on Friday broke ground on the CEOHomes Hana Garden urban area in Quang Minh Commune, marking another step in developing the northern Red River urban corridor as a new growth pole in the capital’s multi-centre development strategy, with expectations high for the expanding fringe of Hà Nội.

Covering 20.3 hectares, the project is designed as an integrated urban area with synchronised technical and social infrastructure. It will offer 511 low-rise units, two commercial apartment buildings and four social housing blocks, targeting both end-users and medium to long-term investors as demand shifts towards well-planned areas with growth potential.

The site benefits from convenient connectivity, bordering National Highway 23B and located near the 100m-wide Mê Linh Road, with easy access to central Hà Nội, Nội Bài International Airport and nearby industrial zones, factors underpinning both liveability and long-term value.

Planned as an open, green development, the project emphasises harmony between architecture and nature, with a higher proportion of green space, community areas, themed parks, a central square and walking paths.

Inspired by Mê Linh’s long-standing flower-growing tradition, the project aims to translate local heritage into a symbol of a modern, sustainable urban community.

Speaking at the event, Deputy Minister of Construction Nguyễn Văn Sinh praised CEO Group’s compliance with legal procedures and alignment with Hà Nội’s master plan, noting that well-planned urban areas contribute to sustainable development and improved living standards.

CEO Group Chairman Đoàn Văn Bình said in the initial phase the project has contributed VNĐ2.134 trillion (US$84 million) in land-use fees to the state budget and is expected to create thousands of jobs during construction and hundreds more once operational.

Under Hà Nội’s development plan to 2030 with a vision to 2050, the northern Red River area is being positioned as a new urban hub, supported by major infrastructure projects including Ring Road 4 and new bridges, helping drive regional growth. — VNS
