KHÁNH HÒA — Central Retail Vietnam on Tuesday inaugurated and handed over a new education project worth more than VNĐ2.3 billion (US$87,000) to Đài Sơn Primary School in Phan Rang Ward, Khánh Hòa Province.

The project includes the construction of two new classrooms, a school counselling room and a support room for students with disabilities.

These facilities are expected to significantly improve teaching and learning conditions for nearly 1,000 pupils and provide teachers with a better environment to fulfil their work.

Local officials highlighted that while education is prioritised as a national policy, many schools, especially at the primary level, still face infrastructure shortages. The support from Central Retail Vietnam is seen as both practical and timely, helping students access brighter, safer classrooms and giving teachers more stability in their work.

The project is part of the company’s “One Mall, One School” programme, which has invested VNĐ12.8 billion in 15 schools nationwide, benefiting more than 8,700 students.

According to Chalermchai Pornsiripiyakool, vice president of International Affairs and Corporate Social Responsibility at Central Retail Vietnam, the initiative not only supports local education but also strengthens ties between the company, schools and the community.
