ABB powers smarter living across southern Việt Nam
ABB, a global leader in electrification and automation, has expanded its smart buildings solutions portfolio and appointed Viễn Đông Electrical Equipment Co., Ltd as its official retail distributor across Southern Việt Nam.
HCM CITY — ABB is electrifying Southern Việt Nam’s residential sector with smarter, safer and more sustainable building solutions, unveiling its expanded smart buildings portfolio and naming Viễn Đông Electrical Equipment Co., Ltd as its official distributor.
The move promises to bring advanced European-designed technology within reach of more households, combining convenience, safety and energy efficiency in one package.
The announcement was made during ABB’s Distribution Day 2025 in HCM City, underlining the company‘s commitment to enabling smarter, safer and more comfortable living through cutting-edge electrical solutions.
“ABB is expanding its smart buildings portfolio for the residential sector to offer customers advanced solutions for safer, smarter and more comfortable living,” said Đoàn Văn Hiển, Vice President, Electrification Smart Power and Smart Buildings, Distribution Solutions, ABB Vietnam.
“By combining European design and technology with accessible pricing, we’re making high-quality electrical solutions available to more households across Việt Nam.”
At the event, ABB introduced a comprehensive range of advanced residential electrical products, including the Framia frameless switch and socket range, Mistral, Basic E Consumer Units and the SJ200 Miniature Circuit Breakers (MCBs) and GSJ200 Residual Current Circuit Breakers. Together, these products deliver complete electrical protection with a contemporary minimalist design, supporting both residential and light-commercial applications.
As part of the event, ABB also signed a distribution partnership agreement with Viễn Đông Electrical Equipment Co., Ltd., which will make ABB’s building solutions portfolio more widely available throughout Southern Việt Nam. With more than 15 years of experience in electrical distribution and a strong nationwide dealer network, Viễn Đông brings extensive market knowledge and a commitment to customer service.
