Vinpearl signs strategic partnership with three South Korean travel firms

HÀ NỘI — Vinpearl Joint Stock Company has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) for strategic cooperation with three leading South Korean travel companies - Hanatour, Marketing Highlands and HKG Co, Ltd (Hank Golf).

The signing ceremony took place on Tuesday during the Việt Nam – South Korea Business Forum, witnessed by General Secretary Tô Lâm, South Korean Prime Minister Kim Min-seok and senior leaders from both countries.

The agreement aims to attract five million South Korean visitors to Việt Nam in 2025, focusing on promoting Việt Nam as a destination and enhancing its appeal so that Vinpearl becomes the top choice for South Korean tourists.

The parties will collaborate to boost communications, expand the distribution network in South Korea to reach more than 7,500 travel agencies and 46,000 golf club members, while also developing new products and services.

Ngô Thị Hương, Deputy General Director of Sales & Marketing at Vinpearl, said: “Partnering with the three largest travel companies in South Korea is an important step in our journey to make Vinpearl a leading international destination.

"We believe that the synergy between Vinpearl’s premium infrastructure, services, and experiences, and our partners’ reputable and extensive distribution networks, will create unique, attractive travel products and help maintain Việt Nam’s position as the preferred choice for South Korean tourists.”

Vinpearl currently operates an ecosystem of 57 facilities across 19 provinces and cities, including hotels and resorts, VinWonders theme parks, golf courses and semi-wildlife parks.

Hanatour holds the largest share of South Korea’s travel market; Marketing Highlands has a network of over 1,200 agents across four countries; and HKG boasts a portfolio of 15 golf courses in six countries.

This agreement not only strengthens long-term cooperation but also helps position Việt Nam as a premier resort hub in the Asia–Pacific region, while fostering sustainable Việt Nam – South Korea relations. — VNS
