Vingroup will also assist Pomina in accelerating its restructuring and management enhancement.
HÀ NỘI — Vingroup has announced a cooperation and support package for Pomina Steel Joint Stock Company, aiming to strengthen solidarity and shared growth among Vietnamese enterprises.
Through VinMetal, Vingroup will provide Pomina with a special working-capital loan for up to two years at zero per cent interest, helping the company improve cash flow, restore its supply chain, stabilise production and gradually recover its financial indicators.
In addition to financial support, Vingroup will prioritise Pomina as a steel supplier for its ecosystem including VinFast, Vinhomes, and VinSpeed ensuring stable output for Pomina and contributing to higher localisation rates in Vingroup’s major projects.
Vingroup will also assist Pomina in accelerating its restructuring and management enhancement. Đỗ Tiến Sĩ, an experienced metallurgical industry expert familiar with Pomina, will return to lead the company’s recovery and development strategy.
At the same time, VinMetal’s CEO position has been transferred to Phạm Nhật Quân Anh, currently a VinFast Board member and former senior leader responsible for key areas such as global after-sales and quality control.
Through this comprehensive cooperation, Vingroup reaffirms its commitment to proactively partnering with Vietnamese enterprises, strengthening competitiveness, and contributing to the sustainable development of Việt Nam’s business community. — VNS
