To date, approximately 150,000 charging ports developed and operated by V-Green have been planned across Vietnam’s 34 provinces and cities.
HÀ NỘI – VinFast on has announced that it successfully completed 3,520 electric vehicle (EV) orders on March 28, 2026, marking an unprecedented record for daily order processing in Vietnam’s automotive market.
The milestone underscores the company’s robust operational capabilities while reflecting strong and growing consumer demand for electric vehicles, signaling that Vietnam’s transition toward green mobility is entering a new phase.
The 3,520 orders completed in a single day are equivalent to the entire monthly sales volume of some automakers in the country. On average, the company processed approximately 146 orders per hour, or 2.4 orders per minute. According to VinFast, all vehicles have been fully processed and are ready for shipment to dealerships prior to delivery to customers.
The achievement has generated significant attention across online communities, with many highlighting the company’s execution speed and scale.
Market observers also note that the milestone reflects accelerating consumer interest in electric vehicles, driven by environmental awareness and shifting economic considerations, including fuel price volatility.
Industry analysts believe VinFast is well-positioned to continue setting new sales records in 2026, building on a series of strong performances in recent years. Since 2024, the company has maintained the leading position in Vietnam’s automotive market.
In 2025, VinFast delivered 175,099 vehicles. In December 2025 alone, the company recorded monthly sales of 27,649 vehicles—an all-time high for a single automaker in Vietnam, comparable to the annual sales volumes of some brands.
Expanding green ecosystem
Experts attribute VinFast’s sustained growth to its long-term strategy of developing a comprehensive green mobility ecosystem. This includes a rapidly expanding charging infrastructure and service network designed to support EV adoption nationwide.
To date, approximately 150,000 charging ports developed and operated by V-Green have been planned across Vietnam’s 34 provinces and cities.
The company is also preparing to deploy 99 ultra-fast charging hubs equipped with 150 kW chargers along major highways, further enhancing nationwide accessibility. In addition, a network of more than 400 service workshops helps ensure a seamless ownership experience for customers.
According to transportation planning expert Dr Lê Hoàng Nam, VinFast’s continued record-breaking performance reflects both product competitiveness and a favorable market shift.
“When a complete ecosystem—from vehicles to charging infrastructure and service networks—is developed in a synchronized manner, consumers gain confidence in transitioning to electric mobility,” he said.
“This shift not only benefits individual users but also contributes to reducing emissions and decreasing reliance on fossil fuels.” -- VNS
