Jakarta — VinFast, the Vietnamese pure-electric vehicle manufacturer listed on the Nasdaq, on 26 July, announced the signing and implementation of strategic cooperation agreements with leading Indonesian service workshop partners.

This strategic initiative significantly broadens VinFast’s aftersales network, underscoring its commitment to delivering maximum convenience for customers transitioning to electric vehicles.

During the Gaikindo Indonesia International Auto Show (GIIAS) 2025 open to the public from 24 July to 3 August, VinFast signed Memoranda of Understanding (MoUs) with three new strategic partners: Nawilis, Warna Warni Ban, and Raperind. These partnerships further strengthen the company’s ever-expanding authorised service network across Indonesia.

Specifically, nine Nawilis workshops will become authorised genuine service centres for VinFast, all classified as Level 1 workshops. The other partners, Warna Warni Ban (five Level 1 workshops) and Raperind (five workshops, comprising two Level 1 and three Level 2) will also join the network, further enhancing VinFast’s service footprint throughout Indonesia.

These third-party authorised service workshops will be clearly categorised by their technical capabilities, ensuring that Indonesian customers consistently receive professional and appropriate support. Level 1 workshops are authorised to provide a full suite of essential services, including routine maintenance, basic repairs, warranty handling, software updates, and diagnostic checks for VinFast electric vehicles.

Level 2 workshops, meanwhile, will focus on core services such as periodic maintenance, basic repairs, and limited warranty work ensuring VinFast owners experience reliable service at every stage of their electric vehicle ownership journey.

These new collaborations complement existing partnerships previously formalised by VinFast, including those with Otoklix and Bengkel BOS. Otoklix has contributed 150 workshops to the network  41 Level 1 and 109 Level 2  while Bengkel BOS has added a further 12 Level 1 workshops.

As a result, VinFast now boasts a nationwide network of 181 authorised genuine service workshops in Indonesia, comprising 69 Level 1 and 112 Level 2 facilities.

All authorised service workshops in Indonesia will adhere to VinFast’s rigorous standards in terms of facilities, equipment, and technician qualifications. These partners will provide genuine parts and services for VinFast vehicles, ensuring customer peace of mind and convenience. VinFast will also offer ongoing technical consultation and staff training to support rapid expansion of its authorised service network especially as its product portfolio in Indonesia grows and the volume of vehicle deliveries is expected to rise significantly. — VNS
