HÀ NỘI — VinFast Manufacturing and Trading Joint Stock Company has teamed up with Vietmap Joint Stock Company in a deal set to put Việt Nam’s electric vehicles on the digital fast track. The two firms have signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) to collaborate on cutting-edge digital mapping solutions and smart traffic services integrated directly into VinFast’s electric cars.

This partnership aims to boost user experience, speed up the country’s green mobility transition and open new avenues for homegrown technology brands.

Vietmap will offer exclusive incentive packages for its popular Vietmap Live navigation app to VinFast EV owners, making it available through optional software bundles soon to be launched by VinFast. Meanwhile, VinFast will help Vietmap broaden its reach within Việt Nam’s expanding electric car market.

Looking ahead, both companies will work together to create a high-precision digital map system tailored to the country’s traffic infrastructure, focusing on national highways and major urban zones developed by Vinhomes.

Their joint efforts will include advanced navigation, driver assistance systems (ADAS), real-time positioning and location-based services (LBS). These innovations will ensure seamless integration of Vietmap’s mapping tech with VinFast’s vehicle operating systems and software platforms.— VNS
