HÀ NỘI — To meet coal sales demand in the final month of the year, with a planned sales volume of more than four million tonnes, the Vietnam National Coal and Mineral Industries Holding Corporation Limited (Vinacomin) has requested coal transport units to continue supporting and mobilising vehicles to meet transportation needs.

Major transport units handling coal for Vinacomin via sea and river said they would meet maximum transport capacity.

However, they emphasised the need for close coordination in flexibly arranging vehicles and loading and unloading operations at both ends, speeding up the loading and unloading process and quickly releasing vehicles.

Specifically, they requested early transport planning to inform the units in advance.

Most Vinacomin units completed or exceeded output targets for mining and processing last month compared to the monthly operational plan.

Estimated raw coal production reached 3.1 million tonnes, equalling 102.8 per cent of the monthly plan, bringing cumulative 11-month production to an estimated 35.7 million tonnes, or 104.3 per cent compared to the same period.

Similarly, estimated clean coal production was 3.23 million tonnes, equalling 101.2 per cent of the monthly plan, with the cumulative 11-month figure estimated at 35.3 million tonnes, equalling 101.7 per cent compared to the same period.

Total estimated coal sales for the month reached 3.35 million tonnes, resulting in an estimated cumulative 11-month sales volume of 39.84 million tonnes.

Consolidated revenue for the entire group in November is estimated at nearly VNĐ11.8 trillion (US$454 million), with cumulative 11-month revenue estimated at almost VNĐ146.8 trillion. State budget contributions are estimated at VNĐ1.6 trillion last month, with cumulative 11-month contributions estimated at VNĐ22.6 trillion.

In particular, alumina production and sales continued to rise last month, seizing market opportunities, increasing business efficiency and contributing to Vinacomin's overall financial balance.

The corporation's operational plan for December includes several key targets. Raw coal production is set at nearly 2.7 million tonnes and clean coal production is targeted at over 3.3 million tonnes.

Furthermore, the minimum coal sales target is 4.16 million tonnes. Consolidated revenue for the group is expected to reach VNĐ14.6 trillion this month. — BIZHUB
