Both sides will implement synchronised solutions to support bringing OCOP products and local specialties onto the e-commerce platform nongsan.buudien.vn and other digital distribution channels.
HÀ NỘI — Bắc Ninh Province and Vietnam Post on Wednesday signed a cooperation agreement for the 2026-30 period, marking a step towards expanding digital channels for agricultural trade and strengthening the province’s rural economy.
Promoting the consumption of agricultural products on e-commerce platforms is identified as a key pillar, aligned with the goal of developing the digital economy and digital rural areas in the locality.
Under the agreement, both sides will implement synchronised solutions to support bringing one commune one products (OCOP) and local specialties onto the e-commerce platform nongsan.buudien.vn and other digital distribution channels.
The cooperation goes beyond simply opening online stores; it is designed to build a comprehensive ecosystem, from digitising product information, promotion and marketing to transportation, warehousing and distribution.
Notably, Vietnam Post’s extensive postal network, with hundreds of service points reaching commune and ward levels, will act as a vital link to help Bắc Ninh’s agricultural products access markets faster and farther.
This system will not only handle logistics but also support farmers and cooperatives in accessing technology, operating digital storefronts and participating in e-commerce in a structured way. — BIZHUB
