Vietnam Airlines, VPBank and Visa launch co-branded corporate card

The launch comes as Việt Nam's cashless payment market continues to expand rapidly. HÀ NỘI — Vietnam Airlines, Vietnam Prosperity Joint Stock Commercial Bank (VPBank) and Visa have launched the Vietnam Airlines VPBank Visa SkyVoyage co-branded corporate card, offering businesses an integrated payment solution with aviation, financial and international transaction benefits.

The launch comes as Việt Nam's cashless payment market continues to expand rapidly. According to the State Bank of Vietnam, the total value of non-cash transactions reached around 28 times the country's GDP in 2025, equivalent to approximately VNĐ360 quadrillion, while the number of transactions has been growing by nearly 60 per cent annually.

Designed for corporate customers with frequent business travel and international payment needs, the SkyVoyage card combines Vietnam Airlines' aviation ecosystem, VPBank's financial services and Visa's global payment network.

Cardholders earn one Lotusmiles reward mile for every VNĐ30,000 spent, which can be redeemed for award tickets, cabin upgrades and other frequent flyer benefits. Businesses that meet designated spending thresholds can also nominate employees or business partners for Lotusmiles membership upgrades from Titanium to Gold or Platinum, with no limit on the number of recipients.

The card also offers payment acceptance at more than 33 million merchants across over 200 countries and territories, unsecured credit limits of up to VNĐ3 billion, interest-free periods of up to 55 days, as well as instalment, cash withdrawal and promotional programmes through VPBank's and Visa's partner networks.

Nguyễn Quang Trung, deputy general director of Vietnam Airlines, said the card was developed to help businesses turn travel spending into greater value.

"As business operations increasingly require speed and efficiency, every flight should be more than just a travel expense," Trung said.

"The Vietnam Airlines VPBank Visa SkyVoyage card enables customers to make convenient payments while optimising costs, earning aviation rewards and improving financial management efficiency."

Vietnam Airlines and VPBank have partnered on co-branded cards for individual customers since 2012. The launch of SkyVoyage expands their cooperation into the corporate segment, providing businesses with a new payment solution as demand for integrated aviation, financial and payment services continues to grow. — VNS
