Vietnam Airlines and FPT co-organise “MAYBE” matchmaking event for young employees


Vietnam Airlines and FPT have jointly introduced “MAYBE: Who knows, maybe that is destiny,” a groundbreaking networking event that brings young employees from both companies together. As the first event to merge technology with hands-on experiential activities, MAYBE creates an interactive space where participants can connect, share, and get to know one another in meaningful ways.

HÀ NỘI —  Vietnam Airlines, in partnership with FPT, has organised MAYBE: Who knows, maybe that is destiny a first-of-its-kind networking and experiential event aimed at fostering connection among young employees of the two corporations. This marks the first implementation of an interactive exchange model combining technology with real-life engagement activities, creating a unique environment for employees to meet, communicate, and build mutual understanding.

The event, held at the Hola Park campus in Hòa Lạc, gathered 100 employees from Vietnam Airlines and FPT aged 24 to 35. Participants experienced MAYBE, a customised application developed by FPT specifically for the programe enabling compatibility-based matching and open networking features. Outdoor experiential sessions, emotion-driven interaction stations, and end-of-day networking activities provided a dynamic and meaningful connection experience beyond traditional formats.

MAYBE highlights a new phase of cooperation between the two corporations, expanding from technological collaboration into corporate culture development. Vietnam Airlines and FPT have long partnered on digital transformation projects, contributing to improved operational efficiency. The MAYBE initiative further strengthens human connection a key element in enhancing coordination across joint projects, shared activities, and multi-ecosystem working environments.

“Vietnam Airlines always places people at the heart of its corporate culture strategy. The MAYBE event, implemented with FPT, is not only an experiential activity but also an opportunity for our teams to better understand one another, collaborate more effectively, and build a sustainable working environment founded on respect, openness, and mutual understanding,” said Nguyễn Chiến Thắng, Deputy General Director of Vietnam Airlines.

FPT Chairman Trương Gia Binh emphasised the long-standing relationship between the two corporations dating back to the early 1990s, when FPT was first founded. “With that closeness, FPT truly hopes the two families will ‘marry’. The MAYBE program is designed to create more opportunities for employees and partners to find harmony, sharing, and happiness,” he shared.

Vietnam Airlines continues to nurture a workplace environment where every employee is respected, recognised, and given opportunities for long-term career development.
