The statement was delivered at the group's annual Envision Global Partner Conference held in Shanghai on Thursday, attracting 3,500 guests from 78 countries and regions. The conference gathered travel industry leaders, tourism boards, airline and hotel partners, and creators to explore emerging opportunities and the future landscape of travel.
Sun expressed confidence in the long-term prospects of global tourism, with the group's mission focused on translating this positive momentum into enduring value across the entire travel ecosystem.

In 2025, overall bookings on the company's international online travel agencies (OTA) platform surged by 60 per cent year-on-year, surpassing outbound hotel and flight bookings by more than 140 per cent of 2019 levels. The group's air ticketing business experienced a noteworthy approximately 60 per cent year-on-year increase in premium cabin and upsell value, while accommodation revenue grew by over 20 per cent.

During the conference, the group affirmed it will continue to expand its international footprint by establishing new offices and strengthening its presence in key source markets.
Looking forward, the group outlined three pillars of future investment and innovation under its "Intelligence with Care" guiding principles in which AI plays an important role.
