The National Statistics Office on December 6 reported positive signs in business registration, with sharp increases in both newly established enterprises and their registered capital over the first 11 months of 2025.
Nearly 18,000 enterprises with registered capital of VNĐ172.5 trillion (US$6.6 billion) and 93,600 workers were established in Việt Nam in October this year.
During the period, more than 231,000 enterprises entered or re-entered the market, up 26 per cent against the same period in 2024 and 1.32 times higher than the number of firms withdrawing.
In May alone, the country welcomed 15,100 new enterprises with a total registered capital of VNĐ156.7 trillion (over US$6 billion) and around 98,100 employees.
As many as 64,758 enterprises entered the market in the first five months of this year, marking the highest number ever recorded, and a 4.5% increase from the same time last year,
The number of newly-established enterprises and businesses resuming operations in the real estate market saw a remarkable rise last year, said the Ministry of Construction.
There was a rising number of firms existing the market in the first month of this year which was four times higher than the newly-established in the period.
