The overall health of Việt Nam’s manufacturing sector weakened further in June, driven by a third straight monthly decline in new orders. Although new business decreased modestly, the rate of decline accelerated compared to May.
As more export orders shift from China to other countries, Viet Nam will become one of the next major sourcing destinations for buyers from ASEAN-member countries, experts said at a meeting on Friday in HCM City.
Several export enterprises are optimistic about receiving orders from
overseas markets in the second quarter of the year, a survey conducted
by the General Statistics Office has revealed.
