ĐỒNG NAI Construction has begun on Việt Nam’s largest and most advanced chemical warehouse at the Ho Nai Industrial Park in Đồng Nai Province.

Developed by Sotrans Logistics, the Sotrans Ho Nai Chemical Warehouse spans 26,400sq.m, including 16,200sq.m of storage space with a capacity of up to 19,500 pallets. Completion is expected in the second quarter of next year.

Designed with a strong emphasis on safety and sustainability, the facility adheres to strict international standards, integrating modern technologies with environmental protection solutions. Key features include a trench system for chemical spill collection and treatment and an automatic fire detection and suppression system. Notably, sprinklers will be installed directly within the racking area – an advanced safety measure rarely seen in chemical warehouses.

Smart inventory management technology will also be deployed to ensure precise operational control, minimising risks such as chemical leaks or explosions and safeguarding both employees and surrounding communities.

According to research by the Vietnam Industry and Trade Information Centre under the Ministry of Industry and Trade, demand for specialised logistics in Việt Nam’s chemical sector is rising rapidly, especially for substances requiring rigorous safety and environmental protocols. The launch of the Sotrans Ho Nai Chemical Warehouse offers businesses a cost-effective solution that reduces infrastructure investment burdens while ensuring full compliance with legal and international standards.
