Sacombank has launched a promotion called “Smart payment – Receive valuable gifts” for domestic debit card holders.

To run until November 30, the programme will offer customers incentives like cashback of VND100,000 (US$4.3) for transactions worth at least VND500,000 ($21.5) through POS machines and a gift of a 322 litre Panasonic inverter refrigerator every week to the customers with the highest payment through POS machines (at least VND15 million ($645.8) and each transaction should be worth at least VND200,000).

Sacombank is one of the few banks in Viet Nam to be eligible to issue domestic cards equipped with EMV chips, which optimise security of card information and allow contactless payment transactions.
