HCM CITY — As the 2025–26 academic year begins, Sacombank has once again delivered its “Nurturing Dreams” scholarship programme, with a total fund of VNĐ7 billion (nearly US$264,000) to inspire and empower disadvantaged students nationwide to pursue education and personal growth.

This year, the bank awards nearly 3,900 scholarships, each worth VNĐ1.5 million ($57) and a backpack, along with 100 prizes from the “Sacombank Colours” drawing contest.

The beneficiaries are secondary and high school students in provinces and cities where Sacombank operates. Eligible students must have achieved at least “fair” academic results in the 2024–25 school year, maintained “good” conduct and demonstrated resilience and determination in their studies.

As part of the scholarship programme, a drawing contest invites students to express creativity on themes like a green world, future dreams, school, discovery, family and gratitude, with prizes including seven first (VNĐ5 million), second (VNĐ3 million), and third (VNĐ2 million) awards, plus 79 consolation prizes (VNĐ1 million each).

In October 2025, Sacombank will also launch a full scholarship programme for second-year students majoring in Economics or Information Technology in HCM City, Hà Nội and provinces in the Mekong Delta and North Central regions. Further information is available at www.sacombankcareer.com.
