The launch aligns with Việt Nam’s broader strategy to harness data as a key production resource.

HÀ NỘI — A strategic partnership between global real-time data platform provider Redis and Nessar Vietnam Technology JSC was officially signed in Hà Nội on Friday, marking a significant milestone in Việt Nam’s efforts to strengthen its data infrastructure and accelerate the national digital transformation.
Speaking at the ceremony, Managing Director of Redis Asia Robin Fong introduced Redis Enterprise’s advanced capabilities in real-time data processing, including automated failover, multi-region support, in-memory performance and integration with AI/ML workloads.
“Redis is uniquely positioned to help Việt Nam build a data-driven economy, enabling faster decision-making, smarter services and seamless user experiences,” he said.
The launch aligns with Việt Nam’s broader strategy to harness data as a key production resource. Resolution 57-NQ/TW, issued in December 2024, defines data as a “principal means of production” and a foundation for the development of AI, blockchain, 5G and other technologies critical to the Fourth Industrial Revolution.
Under this strategy, the Vietnamese Government has been advancing its legal and technical infrastructure to support data development. Decree 51/2020/ND-CP on data sharing among State agencies and Circular 12/2023/TT-BTTTT on national data infrastructure have laid the groundwork for secure, standardised and interoperable systems.
“Data is central to every aspect of the digital transformation,” said Nguyễn Thạc Nam, CEO of Nessar Vietnam. “We’re not just delivering software — we’re offering end-to-end support, from consulting and implementation to training and ecosystem building.”
According to Nam, the arrival of Redis Enterprise will help domestic enterprises modernise IT systems and better leverage AI and big data. With features like real-time analytics, active-active geo-distribution and support for Kubernetes, Redis Enterprise is designed for mission-critical applications across industries from finance and e-commerce to logistics and public services.
The platform is also tailored for AI use cases through Redis AI, allowing for high-speed inference and seamless integration of machine learning models into enterprise applications.
The partnership is expected to contribute to the formation of sovereign, large-scale databases and a domestic data industry, both of which are priorities in Việt Nam’s national digital roadmap. The Government is also promoting the creation of data exchanges and marketplaces to foster innovation and improve service delivery.
With this collaboration, Việt Nam takes another step toward building a robust digital economy, anchored in secure, scalable and future-ready data infrastructure. — VNS
