HÀ NỘI — Phenikaa School has received STEM.org Accredited certification from STEM.org Educational Research and has been ranked among the top 5 per cent of 'Best in STEM' organisations globally.

The certification, awarded this week, follows an independent evaluation process assessing criteria including curriculum design, teaching methods, faculty capacity, facilities and student engagement, the school said in a statement, adding that the recognition marks a step toward aligning Việt Nam’s general education sector with international standards.

STEM.org Educational Research highlighted the school’s investment in laboratories, robotics programmes and experiential learning models, noting that students are encouraged to solve real-world problems to develop scientific thinking, creativity and teamwork.

Phenikaa School said it has positioned STEM (science, technology, engineering and mathematics) as a core pillar of its academic strategy, offering a continuous programme from Grade 1 to Grade 12 alongside advanced pathways for students with strong interest or aptitude in science and technology.

Nguyễn Thị Hương, chief executive officer of the school, said the recognition validated its long-term strategy of embedding STEM education as a foundation for student development.

She said that STEM is not just a subject, but a way to build comprehensive thinking and capabilities, enabling students to apply knowledge, solve problems and adapt to a rapidly changing world.

The school added it plans to expand research and innovation activities and strengthen international partnerships to enhance opportunities for students.

Phenikaa School is part of the Phenikaa Group ecosystem, which includes Phenikaa University, as it develops an integrated education model from general to postgraduate levels.

Founded in 2001, STEM.org Educational Research works with global educators, researchers and institutions to develop standards and accreditation systems for STEM education. — BIZHUB
