HÀ NỘI — Omoda & Jaecoo Việt Nam (OJV) has announced plans to launch and introduce up to 16 new models in 2026, the most diverse product lineup ever introduced by a Chinese car brand in Việt Nam.

Notably, the lineup covers all powertrains - petrol, hybrid (HEV), plug-in hybrid (SHS) and battery-electric (BEV) - spanning urban SUVs, sporty SUVs, off-road models and next-generation green vehicles.

The company said its 2026 product plan is shaped by the increasingly diverse needs of Vietnamese consumers. The 16 new models will cover a wide range of segments, from stylish urban SUVs and family SUVs to off-road SUVs and electrified SUVs, offering suitable options for each customer group.

By announcing such a wide product portfolio, Omoda & Jaecoo Việt Nam is showing its intention to strengthen its position in the country through a rich product offering that meets the mobility needs of Vietnamese users – from budget to premium, and from urban driving to challenging terrain.

A key highlight of the 2026 development plan is the introduction of advanced hybrid technology into Omoda & Jaecoo’s product portfolio. Along with rapid market expansion, the company aims to offer Vietnamese customers efficient and practical green-mobility solutions.

At the end of October 2025, Omoda & Jaecoo Việt Nam also began construction of its manufacturing plant in Hưng Yên Province. The plant is expected to begin operations in 2026, marking a new phase of localisation, production and increased supply capacity. This is considered a major step that will help the company secure its supply, optimise costs and enhance competitiveness in the Vietnamese market. — VNS
