HÀ NỘI — The decision by Mutek Technology Vietnam Co Ltd to launch a US$4 million factory project in Quảng Ninh Province further highlights Việt Nam’s growing appeal amid the global shift in high-tech and semiconductor supply chains.

Recently, Amata Hạ Long Urban Joint Stock Company signed a land sublease agreement with Mutek Technology Vietnam Co Ltd.

The strategic partnership marks the beginning of Mutek’s new manufacturing project at Amata City Hạ Long, located in Sông Khoai Industrial Park in Quảng Ninh Province.

The development is being viewed as another positive signal underscoring the increasing attractiveness of key industrial zones in northeastern Việt Nam to international high-tech investment flows.

Under the announced plan, Mutek Technology Vietnam will invest approximately $4 million to develop a factory complex covering one hectare. The project will specialise in manufacturing machinery and precision equipment for the semiconductor and electronics industries.

The company expects to complete construction and machinery installation by the end of the fourth quarter of 2027. Following this phase, the facility will enter a trial production period before officially commencing full commercial operations in the first quarter of 2028.
