HẠ LONG — FPT Corporation brought together more than 300 executives from Japan's leading enterprises at the Ha Long Sapphire Summit, held from July 1–3, to discuss strategies for scaling artificial intelligence (AI) adoption and accelerating enterprise transformation.

The summit served as a platform for FPT and its Japanese partners to exchange insights on the opportunities and challenges of AI transformation while showcasing technology platforms and collaboration models that enable AI to become a core business capability.

Opening the event, Chu Thi Thanh Hà, Chairwoman of FPT Software, said AI is creating new opportunities for collaboration between people and technology, while emphasiSing that trust, long-term partnerships and a shared vision remain the foundation of successful transformation.

"FPT is committed to being a long-term strategic partner, continuously enhancing our quality, speed and delivery capabilities to accompany Japanese enterprises in the AI era," she said.

After more than 20 years in Japan, FPT has expanded to 5,000 employees across 18 offices and R&D centres, serving more than 450 customers with the support of a global network of 18,000 technology experts. The company has also launched AI Factories in Việt Nam and Japan, both ranked among the world's TOP500 supercomputers.

Speaking at the summit, Phạm Minh Tuấn, Executive Vice President of FPT Corporation and CEO of FPT Software, said Japanese enterprises are facing mounting pressure from a shortage of IT talent, ageing legacy systems and increasing cybersecurity risks. While nearly all enterprises have begun adopting AI, fewer than 25 per cent have successfully deployed it at enterprise scale, largely due to the lack of clear transformation roadmaps and standardised operating models.

To help organisations scale AI adoption, FPT introduced its three-layer AI transformation model, comprising CASAN, an AI capability assessment framework; FleziPT, an integrated AI ecosystem with industry-specific solutions; and Digital Foundry™, an outcome-driven operating model that enables enterprises to deploy AI at scale.

Participants also experienced demonstrations of FPT's AI ecosystem, including Vertical AI solutions for industries such as insurance and e-commerce, and Horizontal AI platforms designed to help enterprises assess AI maturity, leverage organisational knowledge and accelerate enterprise-wide AI transformation.
