HCM CITY — K.A.T 2025, the leading South Korea–Vietnam K-Beauty Advanced Skills Training and Scientific Conference, will take place on November 1-2 in HCM City.

The event, which will bridge academia and practice toward global aesthetic excellence, will serve as a major international academic event in the fields of dermatology, aesthetic surgery and medical aesthetic technology.

The programme is co-hosted by the Ministry of Health and Welfare of Korea, the Korea Health Industry Development Institute, and co-organised by the Korean Beauty International Technology Association (KBIT) and other partners, including Việt Nam's Lê Văn Thịnh Hospital.

The conference, which will include training sessions and live demonstrations, will feature approximately 300 medical professionals and 13 distinguished speakers from South Korea and Việt Nam, representing the forefront of K-Beauty science and clinical practice.

K.A.T 2025 aims to establish a comprehensive bridge between international academic excellence and modern clinical practice, combining scientific lectures, professional discussions, live demonstrations, hands-on training and simulated surgeries.

Beyond knowledge sharing, the conference highlights a tripartite strategic collaboration among South Korean and Vietnamese partners, following the signing of a Memorandum of Understanding.

This partnership aims to develop a joint education–research–technology transfer network that meets global medical aesthetic standards, thereby strengthening Vietnam’s standing in the regional and international aesthetic medicine community.

Doctors and nurses will receive hand-on application of high-tech devices in skin treatment from international aesthetic experts.

With its professional organisation, diverse academic content, and participation of top experts, K.A.T 2025 is expected to become an annual international academic platform, promoting cooperation in training, research, and advanced technology application between the two countries.

The event provides Vietnamese doctors with access to cutting-edge K-Beauty advancements, while affirming Việt Nam’s role in the global integration of aesthetic medicine, advancing toward safety, professionalism, and sustainability.

Việt Nam’s aesthetic industry is currently among the fastest-growing markets in Southeast Asia, with an annual growth rate of 15-20 per cent. The rapidly diversifying demand – from skincare and non-invasive rejuvenation to plastic surgery – continues to attract international brands, investors, and training organisations.

Meanwhile, South Korea, recognised as the cradle of K-Beauty, leads Asia in aesthetic medical technology, safety standards, and innovation, and remains a key exporter of aesthetic trends and highly skilled professionals across the region.

Initiatives such as K.A.T 2025 provide a practical platform to connect resources, standardise education, and facilitate technology transfer – paving the way for a South Korea-Việt Nam Aesthetic Value Chain and contributing to the development of a modern, ethical, and sustainable beauty industry.
