HÀ NỘI — Shinhan Life Insurance Vietnam Limited Liability Company (Shinhan Life Vietnam) has just been honoured with the Best Financial Protection Insurance Award at the Vietnam Wealth Advisor Summit 2025 (VWAS 2025) on September 25.

Voted by the Professional Council and readers of the Đầu tư và Tài chính (Finance and Investment) Newspaper, the Best Financial Protection Insurance Award is a recognition of Shinhan Life Vietnam's customer-centric product development strategy and continuous innovation efforts.

VWAS 2025 is an annual event organised by the Finance and Investment Newspaper and the Vietnam Financial Advisor Community under the auspices of the Ministry of Finance. It provides an opportunity for individual investors to connect and share with policymakers and experts to create a trusted and sustainable investment market.

The Best financial protection insurance award is a category in the Voting Programme for Outstanding Financial Products/Services in 2025. This is the only voting programme implemented in Việt Nam, meets international practices, has clear evaluation criteria and is reviewed by the Voting Council of reputable independent experts at home and abroad.

In addition to the quantitative criteria evaluated by the Professional Council, the award is also based on the results of online voting by customers on the Organising Committee’s website. The survey questionnaire sent to customers includes three qualitative criteria: a professional team of experts and consultants, flexibility and suitability for needs and prestige of investment-linked products.

Previously, in April, Shinhan Life Vietnam was also honoured as Leading insurance company in health and wellness in the Top 30 Outstanding FIEs in 2024 - 25 at the 24th Golden Dragon Awards ceremony. These awards have affirmed Shinhan Life's strong commitment to creating comprehensive financial protection solutions, especially in the context of market fluctuations.

According to the 2024 Financial Report, Shinhan Life Vietnam recorded total revenue of VNĐ402 billion, with net revenue from insurance business operation amounting to VNĐ256 billion, reflecting 19 per cent growth compared to the previous year, and the solvency margin was at a high level of 4,496 per cent.

These results are expected to propel the company's comprehensive growth objectives for 2025.
