HCM CITY — Zoho Corporation, an Indian technology giant with headquarters also in the US and Singapore, has opened its first office in Việt Nam.

The HCM City office will serve as the coordination centre for Zoho's operations in the country, with a team responsible for business, marketing and customer support.

Việt Nam is emerging as a promising market for software-as-a-service (SaaS) solutions.

According to Statista, the country’s SaaS market is projected to grow at an average of over 27 per cent annually from now through 2030, reaching US$1.22 billion by 2030.

This growth is driven by the increasingly sophisticated digital infrastructure, a young and skilled workforce and proactive government policies supporting technological innovation.

In Việt Nam, Zoho prioritises serving SMEs through integrated solutions, guiding users from consultation to implementation and operation, all in Vietnamese.

Core platforms such as Zoho CRM and Zoho Workplace have been integrated with AI features and Vietnamese language interfaces to better serve local users.

In future, Zoho plans to launch advanced AI features in Việt Nam, offering comprehensive solutions for businesses.

Gibu Mathew, the company’s vice president and regional director for Asia Pacific, said: "Zoho is committed to providing AI-powered solutions to help Vietnamese businesses grow faster, innovate more effectively and contribute to the country's digital transformation goals."

Tushar Garg, vice consul general of India in HCM City, said: "Zoho’s expansion into Việt Nam marks a significant milestone in the growing economic and technological collaboration between India and Việt Nam. As an Indian company with a global footprint, Zoho exemplifies the innovation and entrepreneurial spirit that continues to strengthen bilateral ties."

Nguyễn Thanh Hòa, deputy director of the HCM City Digital Transformation Center, welcomed Zoho’s presence, saying: “We highly value the contributions of global technology partners like Zoho in driving digital transformation in the city. Their solutions will enhance the application of digital technology, benefiting both SMEs and large enterprises.” — BIZHUB
