With a total investment of VNĐ429 billion (nearly US$16.5 million), GO! Hưng Yên spans 16,000 square metres and is the 43rd shopping centre operated by Central Retail Vietnam nationwide.

HƯNG YÊN — Central Retail Vietnam on Wednesday officially inaugurated the GO! Hưng Yên shopping mall on Tô Hiệu Street in Phố Hiến Ward, Hưng Yên Province, five months ahead of schedule, bringing the total number of shopping centres it operates nationwide to 43.
With a total investment of VNĐ429 billion (nearly US$16.5 million), the mall spans 16,000 square metres over two commercial floors and a 1,000-square-metre parking area.
GO! Hưng Yên follows the multi-functional retail model 'Shopping – Dining – Learning – Entertainment – Sustainability', aiming to meet every customer’s need. The site features a GO! Hypermarket alongside more than 50 well-known domestic and international brands.
A notable highlight of GO! Hưng Yên is its dedicated space on the second floor to promote OCOP (One Commune One Product) items from across Việt Nam. Featured products include Hưng Yên’s own longan, Bần soy sauce, crispy lotus seeds, honey and turmeric powder.
At the inauguration ceremony, Secretary of the Hưng Yên Provincial Party Committee Nguyễn Hữu Nghĩa said that the launch of GO! Hưng Yên not only holds economic and diplomatic significance but also contributes to local commercial and socio-economic growth.
“GO! Hưng Yên is not just a shopping destination. It provides a wide range of products and services that enhance the quality of life for local residents, bringing about employment opportunities, supporting the development of various related sectors and contributing to the provincial budget,” Nghĩa said.
Olivier Langlet, CEO of Central Retail Việt Nam, highlighted the country’s promising retail growth, noting that modern retail still accounts for less than 15 per cent of the market.
He said that the mall prioritises food safety, sustainability and supporting local businesses and employment, generating around 400 new jobs, primarily for local residents.
In alignment with its 'Better for Việt Nam' strategy, Central Retail Vietnam also announced a VNĐ2.5 billion donation to Bảo Khê Primary and Secondary School to build a multi-purpose training hall. This initiative, part of the 'One Shopping Centre – One School' campaign, exemplifies the company’s commitment to supporting education across the country. — BIZHUB/VNS
