HÀ NỘI — FPT Corporation has joined a global coalition led by Qualcomm Technologies to accelerate the development and commercialisation of AI-native 6G networks.

Announced at Mobile World Congress 2026, the initiative sets a milestone-driven roadmap, with early demonstrations planned and pre-commercial 6G networks targeted for 2028, followed by commercial rollout from 2029.

Designed as an AI-native platform, 6G will integrate ultra-high-performance connectivity, sensing, and distributed computing to enable new AI-powered applications and services across industries.

The collaboration focuses on developing core standards, validating systems early, and building interoperable networks.

By participating, FPT aims to leverage its strengths in digital engineering, AI, and system integration to help shape 6G from research to real-world deployment, unlocking new business models and advancing intelligent mobility, smart manufacturing, and other next-generation technologies. — VNS
