A highlight of the week will be the Erasmus+ and Horizon Europe Day, which connects higher education institutions and organisations from Europe and Việt Nam to promote research collaboration and innovation.
HÀ NỘI — Following last year’s success that featured nearly 5,000 participants, European Higher Education Week 2025 will return from November 1–3, reaffirming Europe’s standing as a top destination for Vietnamese students seeking world-class education and research opportunities.
The event gathers nearly 70 universities and educational organisations from 18 EU member states, including France, Sweden, the Netherlands, Denmark, Germany, Italy, Spain and others, providing comprehensive information on study programmes, scholarships and research options across a wide range of fields.
In addition to the exhibition, panel discussions and alumni sharing sessions will offer participants first-hand insights into studying and developing in Europe - a place where knowledge is inspired by openness, diversity and creativity.
A highlight of the week will be the Erasmus+ and Horizon Europe Day, which connects higher education institutions and organisations from Europe and Việt Nam to promote research collaboration and innovation.
For the first time, the two flagship EU programmes will be jointly featured, creating a platform for educators, administrators and institutions to share experiences and co-develop solutions for the future.
Speaking about the event, EU Ambassador to Việt Nam Julien Guerrier said: “Education is the foundation of all sustainable development. In a rapidly changing world, equipping young people with the skills to adapt and innovate is key to the future.
"European Higher Education Week not only opens doors to learning opportunities but also builds bridges of cooperation between Việt Nam and Europe - transforming knowledge into action and action into change.”
European Higher Education Week 2025 is organised under the EU’s campaign 'Plug in to Evolution', a flagship public diplomacy initiative within the Global Gateway Strategy, which promotes skills development, green transition and sustainable partnerships through youth-focused activities.
Beyond being a gateway to European universities, the event embodies a broader journey - nurturing a spirit of learning, creativity and co-creation for a sustainable future. — VNS
