HCM CITY — Bosch Vietnam, a leading global supplier of technology and services, has hosted “TechTogether: Your Path to Bosch,” an interactive student talk show designed to bridge the gap between academic theory and the rapidly evolving demands of the technology industry.

As a part of Bosch Tech Tour 2025 - a series of interactive events designed to give visitors the experience of Bosch’s complete ecosystem of technologies and solutions, the talk show offered students firsthand exposure to Bosch’s ecosystem of technologies and solutions while engaging directly with engineers and innovators.

The session aimed to help students develop a future-ready mindset by gaining insights into fields such as artificial intelligence, smart manufacturing, and sustainable mobility, and by experiencing how Bosch transforms everyday life through purposeful innovation.

Recently, the Ministry of Science and Technology set an ambitious goal to position Việt Nam as a leading hub for scientific data, technology, innovation, and digital transformation in Southeast Asia by 2030.

With one of the region’s youngest and most dynamic populations, the country’s workforce is eager to learn, grow, and contribute to digital transformation. However, as artificial intelligence, automation, and digitalisation reshape industries, the gap between classroom learning and real-world skills remains a challenge.

Recognising this gap, Bosch Vietnam has positioned itself as a bridge between technology and human potential, the company said.

“At Bosch, we believe innovation begins with people. By connecting young talents with practical challenges and cutting-edge technologies, we hope to cultivate a new generation of changemakers who can drive meaningful progress – locally and globally,” said Trần Ngọc Quynh Anh, head of Human Resources at Bosch Vietnam.

The initiative forms part of its long-term “local-for-global” strategy to nurture Việt Nam’s technology ecosystem. The company has built strong partnerships with universities including HCM City University of Technology, HCM City University of Technology and Education, and RMIT University through innovation contests, laboratory investments, and collaborative research.

Bosch is also known for its Bosch Technical Industrial Apprenticeship Training Centre, a German-standard programme launched in 2013 with Lilama 2 Technology International College and the Delegation of German Industry and Commerce in Vietnam. With an investment of over one million euros, the tuition-free programme provides on-the-job training and financial support, having produced 204 skilled technicians to date. — VNS
