VinFast posts record sales in March 2026, maintains leading position in Việt Nam’s EV market
For the first quarter of 2026, VinFast delivered a total of 53,684 electric vehicles, maintaining strong growth across its entire product lineup.
HÀ NỘI – VinFast reported sales of 27,609 electric vehicles of all types in Vietnam in March 2026, representing a 127 per cent increase compared to the same period in 2025.
The result further reinforces the company’s dominant position in the domestic electric vehicle market and reflects strong consumer demand for electric mobility.
Notably, on March 28 alone, VinFast recorded 3,520 electric vehicle orders ready for delivery, marking the highest single-day sales figure ever achieved by an automotive brand in Vietnam.

Among individual models, the Limo Green led sales in March with 6,795 units, up 276 per cent from the previous month. The family and personal-use version, VF MPV 7, also posted significant growth, rising 116per cent to 2,521 units.
Other models also recorded strong performance. The VF 7 reached 1,732 units, up 115 per cent and becoming the leading model in the C-SUV segment. The VF 6 achieved 3,152 units, up 202 per cent, while the VF 5 reached 4,218 units, up 158 per cent. The VF 3 posted 4,729 units, up 108 per cent.
Two compact urban mobility models, the EC Van and Minio Green, also achieved their highest monthly sales since launch, with 1,136 and 1,969 units delivered respectively in March 2026.
Cumulatively from the beginning of 2026, the Limo Green remains VinFast’s best-selling model in Vietnam with 12,471 units delivered, averaging more than 4,150 units per month. It is followed by the VF 3, VF 5, VF 6, Minio Green, VF MPV 7, and VF 7, all of which continue to show strong and sustained growth. - VNS
