HÀ NỘI — V-Green Global Charging Station Development Joint Stock Company has unveiled plans to invest VNĐ10 trillion (around US$380 million) to build 99 supercharging stations along national and provincial highways across Việt Nam this year.

According to the company, each station will be capable of simultaneously serving up to 100 electric vehicles, with ultra-fast charging times of as little as 15 minutes.

The stations will be powered entirely by clean energy sources, including wind and solar power. The 99 super charging stations will be strategically located along key transport routes at appropriate intervals, covering 34 provinces and cities nationwide.

This network is designed to meet the growing demand of electric vehicle users, particularly those travelling long distances or across provinces. Each station will be equipped with up to 100 charging points, each delivering 150kW of power, ensuring rapid energy replenishment for continued journeys.

All stations will use renewable energy stored in battery energy storage systems that are researched, developed and manufactured in-house.

This integrated system supports stable operations while maintaining a fully green energy supply. With its ultra-fast and highly convenient charging model, the V-Green network is expected to significantly enhance the electric mobility ecosystem in Việt Nam.

At the same time, the system's zero-emissions operations will help reduce carbon emissions and support the country’s goal of achieving net-zero emissions by 2050. — VNS
