HCM CITY — SSI Securities Corporation has launched a service connecting its market data with major AI platforms, including ChatGPT, Claude, and Gemini.

SSI MCP delivers standardised, quality-controlled, and regularly updated financial data, enabling investors to access information more conveniently while verifying the underlying sources behind AI-generated answers.

Model Context Protocol acts as a bridge between AI systems and specific data sources, moving beyond static training knowledge or information aggregated from the Internet.

The service is particularly relevant to securities investors, as market information can change rapidly. Instead of aggregating information from multiple sources, SSI MCP connects AI directly with SSI’s structured and managed market data, covering areas such as price movements, valuation, financial statements, and corporate information.

Investors can ask questions and receive information within the same AI conversation, reducing the need to switch between applications or search for different types of data separately.

After a one-time account authentication, investors can ask questions in natural language around the clock. The AI retrieves the latest available SSI data according to each category's update cycle, significantly reducing reliance on outdated or unverified information.

SSI MCP caters to investors of all experience levels.

Beginners can inquire about basic market concepts, while seasoned traders can explore price movements, valuation indicators, financial performance, and notable corporate events.

Users can start with plain-language queries without needing to understand complex technical commands or data structures.

In its initial release, SSI MCP operates strictly on a read-only basis focused on market-data queries. It does not access trading accounts or personal data, execute or modify orders, or offer specific buy/sell recommendations. Final investment assessments and decisions remain entirely with the user.

The launch reflects SSI’s long-term focus on AI technology. While AI excels at interpreting information, the quality of financial answers relies heavily on the underlying data. SSI MCP brings verified data directly into familiar AI interfaces without forcing users to learn a new application.

“SSI does not aim to have AI replace investors’ thinking or decision-making. What we want to do is help users move more quickly from a question to the information they need,” an SSI spokesperson said.

“In finance, a good AI tool should not only provide quick answers but also help users understand where the data comes from and how reliable it is.”

SSI said the MCP-based infrastructure could support the development of additional AI-enabled investor services, with future expansion guided by data security, transparency over access rights, and customer control.
