HCM CITY — Global cybersecurity company SearchInform has announced plans to strengthen its presence in Việt Nam, as the country’s digital transformation and evolving regulatory environment create growing demand for advanced information security solutions.

Lev Matveev, chairman of the Board of Directors at SearchInform, said the company decided to enter the Vietnamese market at a time when the country’s cybersecurity sector was entering a new phase of development, with businesses placing greater emphasis on data protection, compliance and secure digital operations.

According to Matveev, Việt Nam’s regulatory landscape has been developing rapidly, with key legal frameworks on cybersecurity, personal data protection and data governance helping create a strong foundation for the growth of the information security market. These developments, combined with the rapid expansion of digital services and increasing volumes of data generated by businesses, are driving demand for reliable cybersecurity solutions.

“As companies accelerate digital transformation, cybersecurity must become a core foundation rather than an afterthought. Without proper protection, businesses risk building large digital infrastructures that remain vulnerable to security incidents,” Matveev said.

To support its long-term development in Việt Nam, SearchInform is establishing an official representative office in the country. The new office will serve as a local hub to strengthen cooperation with customers and partners, while providing comprehensive support throughout the deployment and operation of the company’s solutions.

The office will focus on key activities including pre-sales consulting, technical support for partners and customers, system implementation assistance and user and partner training, as well as marketing and communication activities.

Matveev said the local presence would allow Vietnamese customers to access faster support and more effective services, while enabling partners to work more closely with the technology provider and explore opportunities for strategic cooperation.

SearchInform aims to build sustainable partnerships in Việt Nam and contribute to strengthening the cybersecurity capabilities of local enterprises through a comprehensive approach to information security, rather than focusing solely on individual products.
