HÀ NỘI — Vietnamese IT services provider NTQ Solution said it has improved software development efficiency after integrating Amazon Web Services' AI-powered development tool Kiro into its engineering workflows, as local technology firms accelerate the adoption of generative AI.

Since April, more than 100 engineers across 20 project teams have used Kiro in daily operations, helping reduce average sprint cycles by 25 per cent while increasing individual task productivity by up to 35 per cent, according to the company. NTQ added that the tool has delivered around 30 per cent effort savings on several projects, enabling faster software delivery and improved development efficiency for clients.

The company said shorter development cycles have allowed customers to bring products to market more quickly, while AI-assisted coding has helped standardise development practices and reduce errors across distributed engineering teams.

According to NTQ, the adoption of Kiro is part of its broader strategy to integrate generative AI throughout the software development life cycle, allowing engineers to spend less time on repetitive tasks and focus more on solution design, business logic and innovation.

"For NTQ, deep AI integration is not only a way to improve internal productivity and accelerate delivery cycles, but also a strategic driver to enhance the quality, scalability and intelligence of our solutions and services," said Bùi Việt An, Chief Technology Officer at NTQ Solution.

"Kiro has helped standardise how our teams approach development with AI, which is a key milestone for NTQ at scale. This enables us to deliver more innovative, high-value solutions that support our customers and partners in achieving long-term growth."

AWS Vietnam said NTQ's experience reflects the growing role of AI in strengthening the competitiveness of Việt Nam's technology sector.

"Việt Nam's technology sector is at an inflection point, and companies like NTQ are demonstrating that Vietnamese firms can set the pace in AI-driven software engineering," said Eric Yeo, Country General Manager of AWS Vietnam.

"What stands out about NTQ's approach is the depth of integration, weaving Kiro into every stage of their development life cycle, from code generation to documentation to review. That level of systematic adoption is what transforms a productivity tool into a lasting competitive advantage."

NTQ plans to extend Kiro to more engineering teams and integrate the tool with its internal AI-powered development platform, The Next ODC Suite. The company is also investing in AI training programmes to equip engineers with the skills needed for AI-assisted software development, supporting its long-term ambition to build a large AI hub in Việt Nam. — VNS
